Business Visa

1. This visa is given by the Indonesian Consulate General to applicants visitingIndonesia for normal business activities (including attending a conference/seminar)which do not involve taking up employment or receiving any payments whilst inIndonesia.

2. Type of entries :
· Single Entry :
· Maximum length of stay is 60 days
· Extensions can be applied for and obtained in Indonesia from the Immigration  Authorities.
· Multiple Entries :
· Issued upon authorization of the Immigration Office in Indonesia. It is suggested that the applicant’s counterpart in Indonesia should apply locally on  his/her behalf -Based on a written approval from the Immigration Authority, the applicant will then apply for the issuance of visa by submitting the required documents stated below
· Valid for up to 12 (twelve) months.
· Applicant’s business sponsor in Indonesia needs to apply locally or his/her behalf.
· Applies for business purposes only.

3. Validity of visa will be three months from the date of issue.

4. Visa is issued within five to six working days from receipt of application providing all documents are in order.

Required documents which should be submitted are as follow :
· Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
· One completed visa application form
· One coloured passport size photograph
· Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover the cost of applicant’s intended stay  in Indonesia (Bank Statement dated less than a month or traveler’s cheques)

For business
· Two supporting letters, each from the applicant firm in UAE and sponsor/counterpart in  Indonesia setting out the reason and duration of the proposed visit, and responsibility for accommodation/maintenance costs.
· Copy of written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia should the duration of  business is to exceed 60 days.

To attend a conference/seminar
· A letter/invitation from the conference host setting out details, including nature, duration and programme of the conference/seminar.

Fees (which must be paid either in cash or postal order only) :
- Single Entry : 180 AE Dirham
- Multiple Entry : 400 AE Dirham

Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports are exempted from the mentioned fees.

Social / Cultural Visit Visa

1. This visa is issued by the Indonesian Consulate to applicants who are going to Indonesia for a social/cultural visit, such as visiting relatives/friends; social organizations; exchange visits between educational institutions; undertaking research and attending training program in Indonesia.

2. Type of entry : Single Entry
· Maximum length of stay is 60 days.
· Extensions can be applied for and obtained in Indonesia from the Immigration  Authorities.

3. Approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia is needed for applicants who wish to stay longer than 60 days which must be applied for by the applicant  sponsor / relative/friends who reside/base in Indonesia. Visa will only be issued by the  Embassy after receiving the authorization direct from the Immigration office in Indonesia.
4. A person granted a student, research or training visa is not permitted to take up employment, and may not remain in Indonesia for any purpose other than that for  which the visa was granted.
5. Multiple entries need special permit from the Immigration Office in Indonesia.
6. Validity of visa will be three months from the date of issue.
7. To return the passport by post, a Self Addressed Special delivery Envelope should be provided.
8. Visa is issued within five to six working days from receipt of application provided all documents are in order.

Required documents which should be submitted are as follow :
· Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
· One completed visa application form
· One colored passport size photograph.
· Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover the cost of applicant’s intended stay in Indonesia.
· Evidence of obligation in the applicant country of permanent residence (e.g. a letter from employer/ college/ school, certifying the applicant intention to return after the visit to Indonesia).
· Written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia should the duration of visit is to exceed 60 days.

For visiting relatives/friends/social organizations:

· A letter of invitation from the applicant family/relatives/friends/social organizations in Indonesia, and copy of their passport ( main details only) or ID (KTP).
· Evidence of sufficient funds or a third party letter guaranteeing to support the applicant financially during his/her stay, together with documentary evidence of ability to do so.

For study/training/research
· A letter of registration from the institution/college/school in Indonesia verifying the duration and nature of the course, training or research.
· Evidence that all the necessary fees have been paid in advance. If the applicant is on a scholarship/award program, a statement/letter of confirmation from the sponsor(s)  /awardees is required.

Fee (which must be paid either in cash or postal order) for up to 60 days maximum period of stay is AE Dirham 180,- which is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Fees for visa applications that need to be referred for approval/authorization will depend on the length of stay granted by the Immigration Office in Indonesia.

Employment visa

1. This visa is given to applicants whose purpose of visit is to take up employment.
2. Type of entry : Single Entry for up to 60 days (issue upon authorization from the Immigration Office in Indonesia)
3. Validity of visa will be three months from the date of issue.
4. If passport is required to be returned by post, a Self Addressed Special Delivery Envelope should be provided.
5. Visa is issued within five to six working days from receipt of application.

Required documents which should be submitted are as follow :
· Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
· One completed visa application form
· One colored passport size photograph
· A written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia
· Supporting letters, each from the applicant’s firm/sponsor in UAE and Indonesia, setting  out the reason for the visit, details of the duration of the proposed visit, and responsibility for accommodation / maintenance costs.
· Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover the cost of applicant’s intended stay in  Indonesia.

The Fee (which must be paid either in cash or postal order) for this visa is AE Dirham 225,- which is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Fees for a visit greater than sixty days will depend on the length of stay granted by the Immigration Office in Indonesia.

Limited Stay Period Visa (Temporary Resident Permit)

1. This visa is also call a Temporary Stay Permit and is issued to applicants whose purpose of visit is to stay in Indonesia for a limited period.
2. Type of entry : Single Entry for up to twelve months (issue upon authorization from Immigration Office in Indonesia).
3. Validity of visa will be three months from the date of issue.
4. To return the passport by post, a Self Addressed Special Delivery Envelope should be  provided.
5. Visa is issued within five to six working days from receipt of application.

Required documents which should be submitted are as follow :
· Passport (with a minimum validity of 18 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
· One completed visa application form
· One colored passport size photograph
· A written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia
· A letter of invitation/support from the applicant sponsors
· Evidence of sufficient funds to maintain oneself whilst staying in Indonesia (e.g. a recent Bank statement, etc.) or a third party letter guaranteeing to support the applicant financially during his/her stay, together with documentary evidence of  ability to do so.
· Evidence of obligation in the applicant country of permanent residence (e.g. a letter from employer/ College, certifying the applicant intention to return after the visit to Indonesia).

The Fee for a visit of up to twelve months will be AE Dirham 400,- which is non-refundable under any circumstances and payable only in cash or postal order.
